MAD About TV, 1999

Cover illustration for MAD About TV by Nick Meglin and John Ficarra, MAD Books, 1999

Following his popular compilation book, MAD About the Movies, Mort Drucker’s sequel recalled his most memorable television parodies and caricatures, from Seinfeld and The Simpsons to Star Trek, The Honeymooners, The A Team, and Friends. An exceptional self-taught draftsman, Drucker became known for his incisive black and white drawings, and eventually, for his striking color work. When first asked to submit a color illustration to MAD, he called upon friend and fellow illustrator Frank Frazetta for his advice.
